Installation and equipment warranty
Your system has two separate kinds of coverage: a workmanship warranty on the installation, and the manufacturer’s warranty on the equipment. Jackrabbit Water coordinates your claims for both.
Installation workmanship: 12 months
The licensed local plumbing subcontractor who installs your system provides a 12-month workmanship warranty on the installation under its subcontract agreement with Jackrabbit. Jackrabbit coordinates customer warranty claims.
Installation is performed by an independent licensed local plumbing subcontractor, not by Jackrabbit Water itself. This workmanship coverage applies to the installation work. The equipment is covered separately by the manufacturer terms below.
How to start an installation claim
- Contact Jackrabbit first at [email protected] or (316) 330-3922 with your name, service address, and a description of the installation issue.
- Jackrabbit coordinates the claim with the installing plumbing subcontractor and keeps you updated on scheduling.
- Installation workmanship coverage is separate from the manufacturer equipment warranty below, and equipment parts are handled under the manufacturer terms.
Manufacturer equipment warranty
These are manufacturer / Honest Water Co equipment terms that travel with the equipment purchase from Jackrabbit Water. Coverage applies to the original purchaser for as long as they own the system. They are separate from the installation workmanship warranty provided by the installing plumbing subcontractor.
Manufacturer-backed periods for the equipment Jackrabbit sells. Periods match the published Honest Water Co schedule.

Equipment warranty conditions
- Coverage is valid only when the system is installed, operated, and maintained per manufacturer / Honest Water Co guidelines.
- Replacement parts or warranty service do not extend or reset the original warranty period.
- Replacement parts are covered only for the remainder of the original period.
- Labor for component replacement is not included in the equipment warranty.
- This equipment warranty is the exclusive remedy and supersedes other express or implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
- Total liability is limited to the original purchase price of the system. Incidental, consequential, and indirect damages are excluded.
- A claim requires proof of purchase and installation documentation.
What the equipment warranty doesn’t cover
- Misuse, abuse, neglect, or accidents
- Improper installation or unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Acts of nature, including flooding and freezing
- Water conditions or contaminant levels that foul filters, resins, or membranes, or that exceed system specifications
How to start an equipment claim
- Contact Jackrabbit Water first at [email protected] with your proof of purchase and installation documentation.
- Equipment claims are processed through Jackrabbit with Honest Water Co / the manufacturer. Any return authorization they issue must be followed.
- Where a covered part needs to be replaced, Jackrabbit coordinates a licensed plumber for the swap. Labor for component replacement is not part of the equipment warranty; installation workmanship issues are handled under the installation workmanship warranty above.
